James Gang Wrestling

Hello wrestling families!

I’m Coach Tyler Faust, and I’m in charge of the James Gang Youth Wrestling Club. I’ve been wrestling since age 5, and over the course of my career, I have wrestled on high school, college, and national teams, and have also won 3 state titles in the Olympic style of Greco Roman . I teach Special Education within the Northfield school district. I’ve been a Northfield resident all my life, and have grown up in this school system. As an alum of the Northfield wrestling program, I can tell you that joining wrestling will be one of the best experiences your child will ever have in sports! Not only is it fun, but wrestling also teaches commitment, drive, and discipline – all good characteristics for your child to acquire as they grow. This is my seventh year as coach of the youth wrestling program, and I look forward to teaching your children more about the sport, and watching their skills and friendships grow throughout the season.
